Thomas Masinde
Accountant

Bio
Thomas Masinde keeps the finances of Simiyu & Partners Advocates running behind the scenes. A finance and accounting professional whose experience spans banking, consultancy, and legal-sector accounting, he leads the firm’s accounting function and the careful management of its client funds.
Thomas is drawn to tax, where logic and compliance meet. Methodical by nature, he keeps to his own well-ordered systems and records, an approach that suits both the precision of the work and the trust it requires. He is completing his CPA qualification, having reached its final advanced stage.
Away from the ledgers, Thomas is a musician. A largely self-taught brass player, he performs on the Euphonium and Baritone across several bands including those of the Salvation Army, and is teaching himself the piano. He has also volunteered his financial planning skills internationally through the United Nations online volunteer programme, providing support to a youth digital skills project in Papua New Guinea, for which he was recognised with a certificate of appreciation.
